Fruit of the Equinox was created during the filming of my artist documentary with Framhous. When we began planning the project, I was asked to create a painting inspired by fall. Rather than approaching the season in a literal way, I wanted to interpret it through the themes that naturally exist in my work.

The autumn equinox marks a shift in seasons—a time of harvest, transition, and preparation for what's to come. I wanted this painting to capture that feeling without relying on traditional fall imagery.

Creating this piece on camera was a unique experience because it documented not only the finished painting, but also the process behind it. Fruit of the Equinox became more than a painting about autumn; it became a record of a moment in my own journey as an artist, preserving both the work itself and the season of life I was in while creating it.
