About:

I am an oil painter based in Miami. Although I have only been painting for two years, my creative background began long before that through my studies in architecture and my work as a barber. Architecture gave me a strong foundation in composition, structure, and visual balance, while barbering sharpened my attention to detail and deepened my appreciation for the human form.

My work centers around the nude female form, which I explore as a vessel for emotion, vulnerability, and transformation. I work primarily in oil on canvas, using color and composition to capture both the inner life of my subjects and their physical presence. Drawing on my background in architecture, I lean into structure and visual balance while also working in a more intuitive and exploratory way through curiosity and trial and error. I favor and prioritize working with intentional symbolism and themes, inviting reflection on the emotional experiences we all carry within ourselves.

The beautiful complexity of human existence inspires me to create. I believe that the purpose of life is to fully embrace the world around us to the fullest capacity possible. It is our responsibility to expand as much as we can, to carry forward the things we learn and love, and to make our mark on the people and world around us. I hope to allow others the opportunity to feel even a little more free, to create spaces of empathy and connection, of relation to one another and the experiences we forget are not so unique to us.
