Summers With You was created as a tribute to one of the sweetest seasons of my life. My sister and I have always shared a close relationship, but after spending years living in different cities, last summer was the first time in nearly seven years that we were finally in the same place again. It was a season filled with slow mornings, long conversations, and simple moments that reminded me how special our bond really is.

I've always been drawn to vintage botanical illustrations, especially those featuring fruit and vines. There's something timeless and nostalgic about them that felt like the perfect language for this painting. The peaches became a symbol of the sweetness of that summer—of memories that seem ordinary in the moment but become priceless with time.

More than anything, I wanted to create something that would preserve that feeling for both of us. Summers With You is my way of holding onto a season in our lives that we'll always remember, while celebrating the kind of relationship that only grows richer with time.
