This was the first piece I made where I felt genuinely satisfied with the outcome. It was created during a time when I was experiencing two very different emotions—the overwhelming feeling of being in love while also navigating the deep grief of other events in my life. One could not completely override the other; both were necessary to experience at their core, but love certainly softened the intensity.
